EDUCATION
Master's degree in public health, health promotion, health education, or related field required.
CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum of one current certification required; multiple certifications preferred. Desirable credentials include Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES), Registered Dietitian, Certified Wellness Practitioner, Certified Worksite Wellness Specialist, National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Certificate in Total Worker Health, Certified Personal Trainer, and CPR/AED Certification.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum three (3) years' experience in health and well-being promotion. Experience should include progressive responsibility in implementing holistic, evidence-based well-being programs or initiatives for diverse adult populations with complex health conditions, preferably in an employer setting.
Previous experience working with laws and regulations that govern employer-sponsored wellness programs.

Strong oral and interpersonal communication, including public speaking, group facilitation, motivational interviewing, and relationship-building.
Strong written communication skills with ability to organize complex information into cohesive communications using plain, inclusive language and cultural competency principles.
Excellent data analysis, time management, and organizational skills with ability to identify processes and organize resources to coordinate multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to diversity, belonging, inclusion and equity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality in a HITRUST and HIPAA-regulated environment.
Proficiency in delivering health education content using virtual platforms (i.e., Zoom).
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Excel).
Advanced proficiency in data collection methodologies, survey designs, and collection tools and technologies (SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, etc.)
SkillsResponsibilitiesCoordinates on-site clinical services for employees (i.e., annual flu shots)., Creates audience-centered health and well-being content and messaging, ensuring use of relevant and innovative communication tools and technologies., Develops, implements, and evaluates evidence-based health and well-being programs and initiatives across a diverse group in multiple locations, including remote and hybrid workers, in office employees, and retail center associates, Develops strong and collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and internal groups (Employee Resource Groups, Employee Benefits, Marketing Communications, Enterprise Learning and Development, etc.) to ensure alignment with enterprise goals and to build and support an organizational culture of well-being, Facilitates support groups and provides one-on-one and group wellness coaching; provides medical nutrition therapy as permitted by licensure, Implements communication strategies and marketing plans to provide employees with a clear understanding of all wellness benefits and programs and motivate increased participation in well-being offerings, Maintains currency with workplace well-being best practices (frameworks, tools, technologies), Monitors and continuously improves the health and well-being experience for all employees. Conducts effective data collection and interpretation to define opportunities. Tracks, compiles, and reports participation and other key performance indicator data to assist with monitoring well-being program engagement and performance, Performs administrative tasks in support of well-being benefits and programming and completes special projects as assigned, Serves as a participating member on the annual benefits design team, providing well-being recommendations to further enhance proposed changes and modifications, Serves as the face of well-being to employees and guides them to appropriate well-being resources; facilitates wellness onboarding; serves as secondary responder to employee questions and implements appropriate solutionsCertificationsSecurity RequirementsThis position is identified as level three (3).
