Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel Company - Pine Bluff Yard in Pine Bluff Arkansas is currently recruiting for a Quality Control Technician. Only online applicants will be considered and evaluated.
Job Description:
- Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting, accepting, and/or rejecting work performed in relation to asphalt and ready mix operations
- Has a good understanding of highway/roadway paving operations requirements.
- Demonstrates familiarity of roadway QC standards, procedures, and applicable codes.
- Has a good understanding of computer software, including MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Position requires a good understanding of the specification requirements (mix designs) for asphalt and ready mix mixtures.
- Consistently samples and makes adjustments to maintain mix, as per specifications.
- QC Technician also maintains lab equipment in clean and working order and ensures calibrations are up to date.
- Must have or be willing to obtain CTTP Certifications in Aggregates, ACHM, Concrete, and Soils.
- Must be willing to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to work irregular hours including some nights.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
