-Check, maintain, and organize academic records of CBC graduate students.
-Monitor progress of graduate students and effectively communicate with them
regarding requirements and opportunities.
-Assist in registration of students, maintaining confidentiality of academic
records.
-Synthesize information from Graduate College and University databases.
-Partner with the Advising Coordinator on student scholarships, award
coordination, and submissions.
-Maintain files and databases and provide documentation to the department,
college, and university on awardees.
-Assist with graduate recruiting, admissions, and advising efforts.
-Participate in the organization and execution of two annual Recruiting Weekend
events in Feb/March.
-Assist in the planning and execution of graduate student orientation.
-Promote the growth of the accelerated master's (BS/MS) and PhD degree programs.
-Assist in various other projects as directed by the Graduate Coordinator.
-Participate in meetings and conferences pertinent to area of responsibility.
-Plan and arrange conferences or meetings under general instructions from the
supervisor; communicate arrangements to appropriate individuals.
-Process expense reimbursements and purchase requests for pertinent purchases.
-Assist with coordination of department events as needed.
-Provide admin support on departmental committees such as scheduling meetings,
record and prepare meeting minutes and action items from meetings.
