Arizona is Hiring an IT Services Coordinator III Near Tucson, AZ
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with Cooperative Extension's goals and objectives.
Collaborate with senior management and division IT personnel to identify priorities and create long-term technology roadmaps.
Infrastructure Management:
Manage Extension’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and telecommunications systems across the state in the county offices, in conjunction with division and university IT personnel.
Evaluate and implement appropriate hardware and software solutions to meet organizational needs.
Plan and execute regular system upgrades, maintenance, and patch management.
Monitor and optimize network and system security, implementing necessary measures to protect against cybersecurity threats.
User Support and Training:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Collaborate with staff and faculty to understand their technology requirements and provide effective solutions.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance end-user skills and promote IT literacy.
Ensure the availability of documentation and self-help resources for users.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of IT disciplines, including infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and systems administration.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of IT professionals.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work well under pressure.
Familiarity with Cooperative Extension or a similar educational institution is a plus.
