Arizona is Hiring an IT Project Manager III, Business Affairs Auxiliary Services Near Tucson, AZ
Execute IT project management duties including tracking project progress, manage project conflicts, and maintain goal alignment.
Facilitate proactive communications with project stakeholders and resource managers.
Coordinate project personnel activities with department managers.
Provide project status updates ranging from executive summaries to detailed reports to leadership.
Develop intake process and draft project plans for proposed department IT initiatives, including defining priority, scope, milestones, metrics, deliverables, resource requirements, risk mitigation, contingency plans, and timelines.
Create documentation and presentation materials as needed for project kick-offs.
Contribute to department leadership strategic planning sessions.
Participate in internal team discussions, meetings and work sessions with key operations personnel and leadership to create IT roadmap and identify potential future IT projects and initiatives.
Perform project close out duties including creating postmortem analysis/documentation of successes and failures, lessons learned, and updates to project related policy and procedure as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Extensive knowledge in executing industry recognized IT project management techniques and methodologies, while using project management software and tools.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to exercise independent judgment.
Creative problem-solving ability.
Skill in managing and prioritizing multiple high-level objectives in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
