Duties & responsibilities:
·Participate in weekly meetings with Collaboratory for Indigenous Data Governance.
·Participate in monthly IndigeLab leadership and working group calls.
·Work in a virtual team environment.
·Work with IndigeLab leaders, staff, and members to develop guidelines for data management.
·Provides routine assistance on general to moderately complex issues and requires the need to apply various techniques to accomplish.
·Performs work under general supervision and receives detailed instruction from IndigeLab leaders and staff when performing new duties.
·Gathers and analyzes data from various databases and sources.
·Enters and collects data, maintains databases, and produces reports for various purposes.
·Manipulates and organizes data.
·Contribute to developing content for online resource platforms.
·Present project outcomes on webinars and at professional conferences.
·Develop a professional development plan and meet regularly with mentors.
·Additional duties may be assigned.
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
·Knowledge and understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
·Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, prioritize, adapt to rapidly shifting priorities, and manage research projects from start to publication.
·Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills for peer-reviewed publications and for interactions with other researchers and the public.
·Understanding of Native American histories, cultures, and Indigenous data sovereignty
·Understanding of data cycles and repositories.
