Duties andResponsibilities:

1. Teaching: Teaches courses in the DNPprogram within the scope of their expertise, which may include foundational DNPcourses and FNP clinical courses. Serves as clinical supervising faulty forstudents in FNP clinical rotations, maintaining and growing cooperativerelationships with practice leaders at clinical experiential learning sites. Actsas advisor/mentor to DNP students and supervises work on DNP projects, creatinga learning environment that facilitates student learning and achieving expectedprogram outcomes. Collaborates effectively with other faculty and staff toengage in continuous quality improvement in courses and program intensives.
2. Scholarship:Develops and maintains academic excellence through clinical and educationalscholarship in their area of expertise. Disseminate their scholarly work atlocal, regional, national, and international professional conferences and journalpublications. Participates in teams to obtain funding to support studenteducation and training.
3. Service: Engageswith faculty, the administrative leadership team, and students in furtheringthe mission and goals of the College of Nursing. They participate in College ofNursing governance activities.
