• Develop relationships with corporate partners relevant to CAST programs.
• Develop sustainable internship opportunities with corporate partners for students, relevant to CAST academic programs.
• Track students in internships.
• Coordinate students acquiring fingerprint clearance for internships.
• Help students search for jobs (Handshake and other resources), give tips for professional interviews, and craft relevant resume and cover letters.
• Aid students in creating a LinkedIn profile and creating a professional online presence.
• Work with students to develop personalized career plans.
• Develop reports on career/internship and job placement outcomes.
• Participate in benchmarking studies aimed at identifying best practices, expand services, or other initiatives to support student career and engagement activities.
• Assist students in identifying their unique professional, transferrable, and functional skills relevant to the career market.
• Host career fairs for CAST students with potential employers relevant to CAST programs.
• Assist students in pursuit of graduate studies (selecting a program, completing applications and relevant materials, etc.).
• Collaborate with engagement and career professionals across campus as well as the department of Student Engagement & Career Development on engagement and career initiatives, including the Career Champion program.
• Facilitate approval process with CAST faculty of UAZ approved engaged learning experiences.
• Coordinate student preceptors with CAST faculty.
• Collaborate with CAST academic advisors and Arizona International to identify and facilitate Study Abroad opportunities for CAST students.
• Connect students to leadership experiences.
• Connect CAST students to undergraduate and graduate research opportunities.
• Collaborate with Retention Specialist and Academic Advisors on career and engagement initiatives for students.
• Assist in the development of communications and promotional materials for career and engagement opportunities.
• Attend campus, college, and regional student recruiting and outreach events.
• Counsels and advises prospective students and parents on educational planning, financial aid, enrollment services and admissions process via email, virtual, phone, and recruitment opportunities.
• Collect student recruitment leads for entry in Slate.
• Responds to inquiries from prospective transfer students and other constituents regarding the admission process and procedures, the transferability of credit, and related academic information.
• Participates in communications and marketing to promote the college to various community colleges, high schools, and prospective students.
• Use Analytics dashboards and other tools to collect and analyze data to understand student population(s) that can inform development and implementation of career and engagement and student recruitment programs and activities.
