Thefaculty member will teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels andcontribute to mentoring students, including those from underrepresentedbackgrounds. The faculty member will also participate in outreach andcontribute to departmental, college, and university service. In these and otherways, the faculty member will help to develop innovative approaches toenhancing student engagement, increasing diversity, and expandingcollaborations with community and business partners.
The iSchool is a place for the interdisciplinary study of information, and is focused on preparing students for living, thinking, and working in the digital age. Students are trained to become specialists in information management, data analysis, artificial intelligence, librarianship, social media marketing, and much more. The iSchool has highly ranked on-campus and online degree programs, with a normal teaching load of two graduate courses per semester for tenure track/tenured faculty.
