Position: Summer DTA CAREGIVERS for Children and Adults with Disabilities

Location: North Phoenix 24th and Missouri

Duration: May 27th-August 2nd

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate engaging activities, games, and workshops tailored to the interests and abilities of our members.
• Provide one-on-one support and assistance to members with disabilities, ensuring their safety and inclusion in all activities.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where members can build friendships, develop new skills, and express themselves.
• Collaborate with fellow staff and managers to plan and implement daily schedules and special events.
• Embrace opportunities for personal growth and learning, gaining valuable experience in the field of disability support and inclusion.

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with individuals with disabilities and creating inclusive communities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
