Location: 3329 E Bell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032

Training will be completed at a different clinic location.

X-Ray Tech Job Summary:

X-Ray Tech produces quality radio-graphic images.

Duties include:

Operates digital x-ray equipment to make radiographs of upper extremity of body as ordered by the physician.

· Performs patient assistance, education and positions the patient for the examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines the proper voltage, current and desired exposure time for each radiography.

· Loading of CDs, burning images from PACs

· Editing and entering of patient demographic information

· Maintain equipment maintenance logs

· Trouble shooting equipment issues with vendor

Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent required.

· Diploma from an accredited radiology school.

· Practical Radiology technician licensure required for the State of Arizona or National Radiology license.

· 2 to 3 years’ experience in extremity x-ray preferred.

· AART Certification or similar.

· Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

· Criminal background check required.
