Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Arizona’s first and only autism-focused charter school is seeking Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) for the 24-25 school year. The SLPA’s primary focus is to work directly with a Speech Language Pathologist to administer school based speech language treatment plans as written in each child’s IEP. Additionally, the SLPA will help to integrate therapies in the classroom as well as providing support to the speech language pathologist in the new state of the art autism center.

Positions in this class require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Light Work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Working Conditions:
Work is routinely performed in an indoor classroom environment working with students who may need behavioral supports.
