Rehab Tech (must be CNA)
BASIC FUNCTION
assists the facility and therapy department to direct daily operations and maintain compliance and regulatory guidelines. The Rehabilitation Tech may assist with treatments only when under the direct supervision of a therapist. Refer to Medicare Regulations and state law for the definition of direct supervision.

The Rehabilitation Tech is at high risk for exposure to blood and body fluids.

Reports to Administrator
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
As delegated.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent.
CNA required
EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in patient/resident care in a nursing center, hospital, or rehabilitation center preferred. Therapy students will be considered. Must be a CNA
WORKING CONDITIONS
SPECIFIC REQUREMENTS
Completion of on-the-job orientation and training program.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to move (walk, stoop, bend, stand, sit push, pull and lift) intermittently throughout the workday.
