Experienced Driver PT

Orange Transport is the Non-Emergency Medical Transport division of Arista Home Care Solutions. We are a highly dependable medical transport provider serving the Greater Toledo area.

Driver duties include safely loading, securing and transporting both ambulatory and wheelchair patients to and from healthcare facilities and other locations for appointments and events. As a driver, the safety of you and your riders is paramount. All drivers must complete an online training course within the first two weeks of employment, as well as receive in-house hands-on NEMT certification. Driver are expected to maintain clean and sanitary vehicles, which includes policing trash, wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and tidying up the interior of the vehicles before and after each transport.

Requirements for this opportunity include:

·23 years or older

·High school diploma or GED equivalent

·Valid driver's license and insurance

·Clean driving record (4 points or less with no major violations in the last 5 years)

·Be able to pass a background check

·Must pass drug screen and physical

·CPR 

·Flexible schedule due to number of bookings for that day, as well as occasional evenings, weekends and holidays. 20 - 30 hours per week.

·Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations

·Have a coachable attitude with willingness to adapt and make changes

·Dress and present yourself in a professional manner

·Strong written and oral communication skills are essential

·Experience in professional transportation. Healthcare-related experience and general understanding of patient sensitivity and needs is helpful
