Position Title: Food Runner/Expo
FLSA Classification: Non-exempt
Reports To: General Manager
Department: Front of House
Job Summary:
We are a modern French restaurant looking for a highly motivated part-time food runner in the heart of Miami Worldcenter. The runner is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food to guests, coordinating the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area, and ensuring that food is presented in a visually appealing manner. The runner must work efficiently and effectively to support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food and an exceptional dining experience to guests.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:
· Coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area.
· Ensure that food is properly garnished and presented in a visually appealing manner. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
· Ensure the accuracy of orders and the timely delivery of food to guests.
· Assist with food preparation as needed.
· Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining area.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Previous experience as an expo or runner or related position preferred.
Work Environment:
· The environment requires the team member to work inside in a temperature-controlled environment.
· Required to work weekends and irregular hours.
· Requires working under stressful conditions.
· Must be able to work safely in a noisy area.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be physically able to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours a day.
· Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
· Requires maintenance of the kitchen area, including moving equipment and supplies.
