Ariel Partners is Hiring a DevSecOps Engineer Near Charlottesville, VA

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and cleared DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in designing and implementing information management systems, with a strong background in technical research and product development within a DevOps framework. This position requires an individual with an Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, IAT Level II Certification, and a solid understanding of commercial cloud service providers, containerization, server-less architecture, and RESTful API design.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and implement secure and efficient information management systems.
  • Conduct technical research and development to drive innovation within the infrastructure.
  • Lead product development efforts, including oversight of subordinate developers on web-based and data-intensive systems.
  • Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment.
  • Utilize automated deployment and testing frameworks to ensure high reliability and security standards.
  • Work with commercial cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure) to implement containerized, server-less, and micro-services architectures.
  • Design and manage RESTful API integrations.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Must hold Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Must be Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certified
  • 10 years’ experience designing and implementing information management systems.
  • 3 years within the past 5 years of experience in technical research and development that enables continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
  • 3 years within the past 5 years of demonstrated experience in product development, to include direct control and responsibility over subordinate developers working the development of a web-based, as well as data intensive system.
  • 3 years within the past 5 years of experience with provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevOps and/or continuous delivery environment using automated deployment and testing frameworks.
  • 3 years within the past 5 years of experience with commercial cloud service providers (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure), containers, server-less architecture, micro-services, web services, and RESTful API design
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics or 15 years’ experience in designing and implementing information management systems may substitute for academic degree.
