**Overview:**

We seek a Coordinator of Volunteer Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about managing volunteers.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement strategies to recruit, train, and retain volunteers

- Oversee all aspects of volunteer programs and services

_ Train volunteers on their chosen type(s) of volunteering such as Direct Care, Administrative, Bereavement and other assignments.

- Manage volunteer schedules and assignments

- Provide leadership and guidance to volunteers

- Collaborate with the hospice management staff on the Bereavement Program mailings.

- Utilize social media platforms for volunteer recruitment and engagement

- Interview and schedule training for new volunteers

- Maintain volunteer records and databases

**Skills:**

- Public speaking skills to engage and motivate volunteers, required

- Experience in social work or related field, preferred but not required

- Ability to manage and lead a team of volunteers effectively

- Proficiency in recruiting and retaining volunteers

- Strong training development capabilities
