SUMMARY:

Arhaus is looking for an energetic individual like you to join our team! We are currently seeking an Inventory Lead to join our rapidly growing team across the nation. In this exciting yet challenging role, The Inventory Lead, Final Mile Operations is responsible for all aspects of inventory management and Standard Operating Procedure compliance within the 3PL providers buildings. The Inventory Lead will hold high accountability and compliance for all inbound, outbound, on the road operations and reverse logistics to both internal and external parties to include 3PL provider, Final Mile Manager and Arhaus corporate inventory personnel. The scope of responsibility includes physical and systemic handling, reporting, and processing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIRES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

In partnership with the 3PL provider management team and Final Mile Manager, and corporate inventory partners, the Inventory Lead, Final Mile will be expected to oversee the day-to-day inventory operations at designated hub facilities to ensure adherence to Arhaus SOPs. They will attend the 3PL provider daily loadout and be an active participant in leading the daily return inventory process. It is their responsibility to ensure driver compliance of the Arhaus Return SOP and inspection of return inventory executing the Arhaus Return Placard process. All return authorizations and documentation must be completed promptly to support Arhaus corporate compliance standards. This role is responsible for the return manifesting, prepping, accuracy, and quality of reverse inventory as it is returned to Arhaus. As part of the incoming inventory into the 3PL provider warehouse, the Inventory Lead will oversee the inbound receiving process, including manifest receiving, OS&D reporting, and accountability to internal partners for processing. They will have oversite of the outbound process of storage and lane picking to ensure compliance with handling and accuracies. The Inventory Lead will support the necessary cycle count and physical inventories in partnership with the corporate inventory support team and local 3PL leadership. They are responsible for inventory shrink and will work to process and resolve claims with the 3PL provider.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Attend Daily Loadout
  • Oversee/Own Route Reconciliation from prior day’s delivery leveraging the POD /Exception Reporting
  • Check in all returns and ensure proper SOP handling (wrapping, condition reports, etc.)
  • View cases in Salesforce that necessary action has been taken (return or exchange)
  • If no RA has been created, and further action is required, contact Customer Service
  • If no RA has been created and no further action is required, create RA
  • Document RA in the daily TRL
  • Update the Return Placard and adhere to appropriate unit
  • Create/update the Returns Manifest
  • Coordinate returns trailer schedule with the Transportation Team
  • Work in conjunction with the inventory team to ensure orders are invoiced timely in order for exchanges to be processed
  • Ensure cancellations are processed timely and updates are completed in Storis
  • Responsible for reviewing and processing mark out of stock items, to be approved by Corporate Inventory Returns team.
  • Oversee the disposition of all mark out of stock including sending in the destruction photos
  • Weekly/Monthly cycle count oversight; report up to leadership findings
  • Oversee inbound process and daily reconciliation of live inventory
  • Review and oversee the OS&D process that the 3PL is executing for all inbound shipments
  • Confirm all necessary dock searches are completed in a timely manner as requested by corporate partners
  • Partner with claims admin to ensure all missing product claims are processed in a timely manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years Logistics experience; furniture preferred
  • Working knowledge of database applications such as Microsoft Office Suite of programs: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
  • Dedication to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary: Typically, 5am start time
