Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut materials such as metal, plastic, and composites according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and conformance to specifications using precision measuring tools, and make necessary adjustments to ensure standards are met.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC laser machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Documentation: Accurately complete production reports, logs, and other required documentation related to laser cutting operations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet production goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laser cutting processes, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training in CNC operations, laser technology, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of CNC programming and laser cutting techniques.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
