General purpose of the job
The Equipment Operator reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for the safe and proper handling, loading and storage of aggregate materials; as well as the general housekeeping of plant property/equipment and premises as assigned by the Plant Manager. The daily work schedule may consist of up to 8 hour days, with overtime on both a voluntary or mandatory basis for work week as well as on Saturdays, and occasional Sundays, depending upon business level requirements.

1. Regular sweeping and mopping.
2. Litter and debris removal.
3. Emptying of exterior waste bins.
4. Maintain yard in accordance with environmental regulations.
5. Maintain clean and sanitary breakroom and restroom facilities, as assigned.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Technical knowledge and certifications
Must be able to use various tools and equipment in a safe manner to perform job functions. These include but are not limited to broom, mop, pick, shovel, garden hoe, sledgehammer, rubber hammer, electric chipping hammer, air hammer, welder and other various hand and power tools as needed.
Area of experience
Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
