About the Program Director Position: 

The Program Director manages product design projects from inception through completion, with the primary responsibility to manage client expectations and ensure that delivery meets or exceeds expectations. As a client-facing leader, the Program Director partners closely with Creative Directors to oversee day-to-day client relationships and serve as an ambassador for our company. 

Role and responsibilities: 

• Program management processes, including project planning, writing statements of work, managing scope and delivery, managing cross-functional teams, program organization, resourcing, and risk management. 
• The central point of contact for clients, managing expectations and implementing the resolution of project-level issues independently. 
• Proactively seeks to develop both a deep and broad understanding of Clients' business and leverages that knowledge to anticipate future needs and potential solutions that offer immense value. 
• Proactive communication of schedule and scope changes, with the escalation of program issues internally and with the client. 
• Budget control and cost analysis on programs, and communication of program financials to the internal team 
• Internal and external program status reports 
• Risk mitigation and management of all issues impacting deliverables, schedules, and budget with thorough documentation. 

About you: 

• You have 8 years of creative and/or digital program management experience 
• You have an excellent understanding of software product design and development lifecycle and processes. Familiarity with hardware product design process and brand strategy a plus 
• You have demonstrated experience managing design teams on long-term engagements 
• You have experience managing external development and coordinating with engineering teams and cross-discipline resources on complex, multi-location programs 
• You have experience in a client-facing role with a client service organization 
• You have excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills, with impeccable responsiveness and follow-through on details 
• You have experience with and interest in project management tools, project management methodologies, and best practices 
• You have strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence others by negotiating and building cohesiveness across diverse individual skills and styles 
• You have strong professional and academic credentials, including a business background and BA/BS degree in a related field 
• You have Project Management Certification (PMP or CSM) or equivalent experience
