Compliance Program Manager- develops and maintains the ARGO Compliance Management Program (“Program”). Supports two stakeholder groups; Internal ARGO Staff (“Internal Customers”) and ARGO Clients (“External Customers”). Ensures that ARGO maintains a relevant and comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance matters pertaining to the financial services industry. Emphasis is placed on those issues that have a direct impact on the software and technical solutions sold and implemented by ARGO within the financial services market place, ensuring these solutions are kept in a compliant state.
JOB DUTIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Evaluate compliance support needs.

• Identify, recommend and implement Program components.

• Develop a Program and supplement components that address the compliance needs for the financial services solutions. The Program should include:

• A written Program document;

• Listing of regulations and laws evaluated, and the evaluation process;

• A communication plan for Internal and External Customers;

• Supporting documentation for Internal and External Customers;

• Produce Quarterly Compliance Bulletin

• Maintain Annual Regulatory Compliance Reference Guide

• Description of collaborative support to Product Management and Application Development;

• Training and education plan, as appropriate, for Internal Customers;

• Customer – (External) Provide confidence to clients that ARGO has a deep understanding and appreciation for the impact regulatory compliance has on a financial institution. This comprehension is perceived from a banking institution viewpoint not just an IT perspective and can articulate ARGO’s commitment and competence in the regulatory compliance arena up through the Executive level of management.

• Revenue – Ensure components within the ARGO financial services solutions relating to regulatory issues are compliant and/or will support banking needs regarding regulatory adherence and examination. Maintaining compliant solutions will increase client confidence and support of the product as well as support the generation of increased revenue and new/existing client acquisition.

• People – Provide support to Internal Customers regarding regulatory compliance related matters, ensuring subject matter expertise is infused in the application development and implementation processes. This support allows Internal Customers to focus on their core competencies, freeing them from researching and understanding the in-depth complexities of regulatory mandates that affect their applications.

• Product – Provide subject matter expertise regarding regulatory compliance issues in the product development life cycle, ensuring a compliant application is sold and delivered to the market place.

• Process – Participate in the product development life cycle, providing subject matter expertise regarding regulatory compliance issues, thus promoting a more efficient and effective process for the issuance of software that supports regulatory compliance.

• Demonstrate understanding of ARGO’s value chain CRP3 (Customer Relationships & Satisfaction, Revenue Expansion, People Management & Development, Process Improvement, and Product Innovation) through actions and accomplishments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Science or related field is required for the position. MBA Preferred

• 5 years’ :experience of related Product Management

• CRCM Certification: offered by the ABA preferred or have the requirements and ability to obtain certification; requires three years of relevant experience, completion of an approved training program, and an exam.

• Software requirements gathering experience

• 25% travel required

• Principles and practices of product development and management.
