ARGO has current summer Intern openings within our Software Development departments that will begin on June 3, 2024. The Internship will run from June 3, 2024, through August 9, 2024.

Interns will be expected to work 40 hours per week within our Richardson, TX, corporate office, unless taking unpaid time off. The position does not include housing, benefits, or paid holidays. 
JOB SUMMARYAn intern is a temporary position hired for a brief period, with the goal to gain work experience, occasionally some university credit, through hands-on experience supporting and working side by side with industry experts. Responsibilities will vary based on team assignment.EXPECTED WORK AND PERFORMANCEThe Accounting Intern will perform moderate accounting and financial reporting related activities involving the general ledger, financial statement preparation, and ad hoc projects supporting the accounting department and other related items.Under Management Supervision, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger by compiling and analyzing supporting data and other related information.
• Develop and analyze ad hoc financial reporting needs and analyses, as needed.
• Perform timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with special accounting and finance projects and analyze as needed.
• Interface with other departments to support projects as related.

• Must have recently obtained OR currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or related field to specified internship.
• Must have an overall 3.0 or higher GPA.
• Prior industry experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe candidate will work onsite at our corporate headquarters in Richardson, Texas. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit stationary; use hands/fingers to constantly operate computer keyboarding and office equipment; talk or hear, to communicate with employees, customers, visitors, and guests (must be able to exchange accurate information in various situations). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
