Argenta is looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our Argenta, Fort Dodge team.
The Senior Process Engineer adds value through the following responsibilities:
- Provide process improvement, technical trouble shooting, and support manufacturing investigations
- Identification, selection, and procurement of automated equipment
- Work closely with global suppliers, product management, operations and sourcing
- Work with operations department to ensure equipment and facilities are optimized for productivity
- Participate in multi disciplinary project teams
- Identify and implement cost saving initiatives related to production
- Establish standards and guidelines for product transfers as it relates to equipment and utilities
- Ensure successful technical transfer of products into commercial production including ensuring all GMP requirements are fully adhered to
Senior Process Engineer requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or packaging engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in automated systems; preferably in a manufacturing environment or other regulated industry
- Possess a strong understanding of GMP regulations
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Excellent written, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Skilled in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating procedures and developing and implementing new strategies
