ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Policy Analyst to join our team. As a Policy Analyst at ARETUM, you will play a crucial role in conducting research, analyzing data, and developing policies to support our government clients in achieving their objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise, guidance, consultation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team in specialized fields such as engineering, policy, analysis, and management.
  • Assess and facilitate the discoverability and accessibility of commercial GEOINT data and services.
  • Inform integration of new data sets across multiple domains, coordinating with the NSG to integrate solutions into the GEOINT Enterprise Architecture.
  • Ensure quality is integral to the development, design, and delivery of commercial GEOINT products and services.
  • Monitor products and services throughout the life cycle, validating adherence to specified requirements through test and measurement activities.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and briefings for senior leadership across the IC and Agency, as well as develop communication/outreach strategies.
  • Act as the interface between NGA and NSG customers and source providers.
  • Support the development and enforcement of national, IC, and NGA policies and regulations governing commercial remote sensing systems.
  • Coordinate NGA and IC positions on commercial remote sensing system license requests.
  • Provide secretariat support to the NGA-led Commercial Remote Sensing Working Group and administrative support to the chair of the IC Commercial Space Council.
  • Review and revise management and governance policies, instructions, standards, and best practices.
  • Develop documentation and guidance to support commercial remote sensing system license management processes.
  • Facilitate cross-agency and cross-office engagements through regular meetings and ad hoc engagements as needed.
  • Identify and support business process improvements.
  • Build productive relationships with senior leaders, the general workforce, and collaborating partners.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in Commercial GEOINT, including validating/adhering to specified policies and regulations.
  • Experience routinely interacting with senior-level personnel, including key component directors.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams of subject matter experts, sharing knowledge and working as a team member.
  • Experience advising and assisting with strategic planning and policy development, with a focus on providing expert strategic-level assistance
  • Active TS/SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a government or intelligence agency setting.
