General Overview:
The Transporter escorts patients inside and outside the facility ensuring the patient’s safety.
The Transporter screens the patient for contraband before taking them to their floor. The
Transporter observes patient behavior and reports treatment sensitive behavior to patient’s counselor and/or supervisor on duty.

Responsibilities:

• Screens patients upon admission and discharge
• Complete encounter session forms based on set schedule
• Keep excellent documentation within the EMR
• Transport the patients from Admission’s Screening to their assigned floor
• Report any incidents to the appropriate supervisor
• Complete incident reports if a witness to an incident
• Assist with nicotine breaks if necessary
• Prepare kits for admitted patients
• Follow discharge protocol and assist patients with retrieving their property
• Provide highest level of care and empathy to patients
• Attend departmental/ agency meetings as required
• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills are required
• Excellent communication skills
• Great level of empathy and comprehension towards addiction treatment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
