Do you enjoy working in Sales? If so, we have a steel manufacturing company that has an opening for a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Do you enjoy working in Sales? If so, we have a steel manufacturing company that has an opening for a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer customer inquiries, provide professional assistance, and collaborate with outside sales representatives to address customer needs
- Cultivate enduring customer relationships through effective communication and rapport-building
- Maintain organized and accurate customer orders
- Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely shipments in line with customer requirements
- Efficiently manage inventory levels and contribute to optimizing stock levels
- Prepare invoices for orders ready to ship
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline order processing and fulfillment
- Maintain database by entering new and updated customer and account information
- Prepare data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
- Organize and maintain company documents
- Adhere to all company policies
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree of Business or equivalent professional business preferred
- Must have advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Microsoft Navision knowledge is preferred
- Must have the ability to research and collect data
- Must have excellent customer service, communications, and multi-tasking skills
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, have strong listening and sales skills, along with the ability to achieve targets
- Must have a pleasant and professional phone voice and excellent phone skills
