Area Wide Protective is Hiring a Customer Service Administrator - Sacramento, CA Near Sacramento, CA

POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Service Administrator is the first point of contact at the facility, representing Statewide, with a high level of professionalism and knowledge of Statewide products and services. The ideal candidate for this role will display exceptional customer service and communication skills when answering calls, replying to email inquiries, educating customers on promotions or sales, and supporting the administrative needs of the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high-quality customer service to any walk-in customers
  • Collaborate with and assist the Account Manager and Branch Manager with orders and customer needs
  • Assist with showroom merchandising and ordering products
  • Answer incoming phone calls and transfer them to the correct person
  • Respond, compose, and send e-mail correspondence throughout the company in a timely manner
  • Provide customer support via email, phone, or in person
  • Inform customers of current promotions or special sales
  • Engagement in learning and communicating all Statewide products and services
  • Compliance with all company safety standards and procedures
  • Creatively work with team members on sales strategies
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of construction, traffic control, or infrastructure industries preferred, not required
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, bilingual a plus
  • Excellent computer and internet skills
  • Must be results-driven, friendly, tenacious, work independently and have a positive attitude
  • High energy and self-motivated
  • Team-focused and supportive of the company’s direction


WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include the following:

  • Hours of operation are typically 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., M-F
  • 40-hour workweek
  • Primarily sedentary or working at a desk
  • Occasionally lift and move 10-50 pounds
  • Proficient literacy
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, or reach with hands and arms

Compensation:
