Ardurra is seeking an entry level Engineer in Training to join our Water/Wastewater team in Corpus Christi, TX.

Primary Function:
Under general supervision, performs assignments of limited scope which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related design engineering tasks. Assignments involve some unusual or difficult problems requiring job knowledge and abilities beyond entry level.

Primary Duties:

• Assist with drawing markups, review and CAD coordination
• Technical contract writing and report writing
• Perform Process and hydraulic calculations
• Technical specification writing
• Cost Estimate preparation
• Other design tasks as necessary
• Perform site visits to oversee conformance of work. Review construction submittals and coordinate with other disciplines /contractors/vendors

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of a 4-year Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program. 
• Someone who is dependable, has strong organizational skills and work ethics is a must.
• Must be a team player and should have strong communication skills.
• Basic understanding of water and wastewater treatment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics.
• Knowledge of – Microsoft office, AUTOCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.
