Ardurra is seeking an experienced System Safety and Security Manager to join our team in Dallas TX.

Primary Function
The Safety Manager will co-locate at the DART Field office located at 1548 Valwood Parkway Suite 106 in Carrollton. You will collaborate with engineers and contractors evaluating existing safety plans and new design plans to ensure safety for all passengers and employees. You will also conduct risk assessments and training and ensure compliance with legal guidelines to create a safe environment.

Primary Duties

• Develop and adhere to Projects Controls Plan
• Compile, analyze, and report project cost and schedule to the project team
• Develop work breakdown structures
• Provide support to detailed schedule development based on project understanding from team members
• Prepare project status presentations, highlighting key accomplishments, risks and changes
• Identify and communicate project risks and develop mitigation plans

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, engineering or related field preferred
• 3 years experience in Urban Rail Safety, Cost Control, Planning & Scheduling, or Field Office Experience in training and directing others
• Experienced setting up and monitoring complex project schedules
