About the Position

We are seeking a Materials Handler – Special Projects Lead to support our Marketing, Tradeshow and Warehouse operations. This position completes guidance to the materials handling team by delegating duties and ensuring that all products, and task are prepared for the Marketing, Tradeshow, and Special Projects (on-site and off-site) in a timely manner This position will also oversee special projects such as sample sales.

Job Responsibilities

· Be the point of contact for the Marketing department regarding identifying product movement for photoshoots.

· Work with the team to pull orders/product as needed for tradeshows/photoshoots using the RF Scanner

· Manage the unpack products for pre-photoshoot planning, as well as pack and return/QC the items post-photoshoot, using the RF Scanner

· Follows verbal and written instructions, reads paperwork/manifestos to complete tasks.

· Get Tradeshows orders ready. (Picking, Auditing & Palletizing)

· Operates a forklift and/or pallet jack to pull product for production use

· Completes workload safely and efficiently, following all safety standards, procedures and processes

· Regularly ensures that product reloading is properly handled to minimize damage to products

· Submits paperwork correctly

· Completes other duties as assigned in other departments as needed (Receiving, Shipping, Sample Sale, etc.)

· Overtime may be required during photo shoots, sample sales, and as needed.

· Use RF Scanners

· Work with the Marketing Department for pre-photoshoot planning and staging 

· Maintain photoshoot/Tradeshow area clean.

· Manual labor required during photoshoots (lighting, hanging, or lifting heavy items)

· Assign out day-to-day work flow at the beginning of the shift

· Work with the supervisor to identify overtime on an as needed basis and communicate work plans to the team upon receipt of overtime approval

· Ensure material handlers are efficient and complete tasks in a timely and safe fashion

· Photo Shoots (Flexible Schedule/ Hours including weekends)

· Report to offsite shoot when required.

· Order Picking

· Packaging Processes to be followed before and after shoots.

· Put away process to be done when inventory is good to be put away

· Work with the Marketing Team as needed. (Printing Orders, Unloading/Loading Vehicles, Helping all contractors, etc…)

Requirements

· High school diploma or GED

· Valid license to operate company equipment

· Previous Warehouse work experience helpful

· Reach Truck, Cherry picker, Sit-down Forklift experience

· Willingness to learn and apply new skills

· Great attention to detail

· Diligence and punctuality

· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 

· Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.

· Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation

Starting base pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
