About the Role
Ardmore is seeking a highly analytical individual with a keen eye for detail to fulfill the role of a business analyst. This role requires someone with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to drive informed decision-making. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively liaising between various stakeholders and translating business requirements into actionable insights. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of business processes and be adept at identifying areas for improvement to optimize operational efficiency. Additionally, proficiency in relevant analytical tools and methodologies is preferred to streamline data analysis and reporting processes.
What you can do for us:
· Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
· Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
· Develop detailed functional specifications and user stories to guide solution design and development.
· Automate manual reporting processes to streamline data collection, analysis, and presentation, increasing efficiency and accuracy.
· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including business process diagrams, use cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions and continuous improvement of processes.
· Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the IT department, translating business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
· Provide support during system testing and user acceptance testing phases, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
· Develop financial reports tailored to the needs of key stakeholders, and collaborate closely with them to identify and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with organizational objectives, ensuring strategic alignment and informed decision-making.
· Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a business analyst or in a related role.
· Proven experience in business analysis or a related role, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
· Proficiency in data analysis tools with the ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets.
· Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a strong emphasis on advanced skills, is highly preferred.
· Experience with Sage and Power BI is ideal but not required
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Proficient in asking pertinent questions to various stakeholders and driving discussions to extract crucial information, facilitating effective decision-making processes and negotiations.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a strategic mindset to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.
· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
· Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation
Starting annual salary: $80,000-95,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
