Job Description:

ARDEX Americas (www.ArdexAmericas.com), is a Global industry leader in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials.

We are hiring for a Marketing Communications Manager, with a proven track record in strategic communication, digital media, project management, and team leadership. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for leading our brand messaging initiatives, utilizing digital media resources, overseeing and driving key projects, and guiding cross-functional teams.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Development and Marketing, this position is full-time based out of our Corporate Campus located in Aliquippa, 20 minutes North of Pittsburgh International Airport.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the marketing communications, brand management, digital, literature, design, and video production team of approximately 5 people
• Support global projects, initiatives and other Corporate Units, acting as key contact and project leader for ARDEX Americas (as needed)
• Participate, collaborate, and ensure consistency in the overall marketing strategy for products, systems, services, promotions, training, and digital marketing, while determining optimal ROI
• Understand and manage annual budget and forecasting
• Oversight of the graphic design team and prioritization of all projects, tracked through Fresh Service platform, and in coordination with all Product Category Managers
• Manage the marketing elements of NPI (new product introduction) process and product launch support, product packaging development, updates, proofing, and execution into production
• Collaborate with Technical department and Product Category Managers on the publication of product master documents and technical updates, across marketing collateral, packaging, and online
• Copywriting and editing of marketing collateral materials including brochures, point of purchase material, direct mail, digital media, and advertising
• Lead public relations efforts with the digital marketing and communications specialist, including press releases, media interaction, websites, online presence, and event coordination
• Drive digital marketing strategy and activities with the digital marketing and communications specialist, to include ARDEX, HENRY and DTA websites, mobile app, social media and video content
• Planning and executing advertising and promotional campaigns, along with measurement of ROI, in coordination with product category and business managers
• Strong grasp of “voice of the customer” to help generate new ideas and solutions to service and support key customer groups, connecting through CRM database
• Support for industry trade associations, key customer organizations, and trade shows
• Project case study development with product category managers, sales managers, sales professionals, technical department, and business managers
• Oversee literature department, marketing collateral inventory, tradeshows, samples, and shipping
• Manage, guide, mentor, coach and develop direct reports
