WHAT DOES BEING A SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR INVOLVE?

In this server administration role, you manage our daily operations to ensure our network is always running optimally. You take on a wide variety of tasks to support our day-to-day successes, including configuring and monitoring servers, workstations, and computer systems. Attentively, you perform updates and security patches as well as provide technical support to internal customers. If any issues come up, you quickly figure out the root cause and perform the appropriate solutions.

We're looking for a skilled and knowledgeable candidate who has experience in the following areas:

  • Maintaining and operating servers and computer peripherals, including command line operations
  • Troubleshooting physical networks
  • Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts
  • Upgrading, installing, and configuring software and hardware
  • Performing regular security tests and monitoring
  • Providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for one or more network environments
  • Managing and troubleshooting Windows, Linux, or Apple MacOS systems

You must have TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph and also need to be able to lift 50 pounds. Some local travel may be required depending on business needs.
