Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials and resources
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to generate accurate production plans
- Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to align production schedules with customer orders
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
- Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding any changes or delays in production schedules
- Provide regular reports on production performance, including adherence to schedule, capacity utilization, and inventory accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of forecasting techniques and demand planning methodologies
- Proficiency in using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for scheduling and inventory management
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
