Arctic Rose Assisted Living Facility is currently recruiting for the following position :

Caregiver / Personal Assistant

Location - Wasilla, AK (40 min. from Anchorage)

Full-time or Part-time

Start Date - ASAP

Duties and Responsibilities Caregiver / Personal Assistant

• Assist individual with daily living and care skills such as self-care, meal preparation, transportation, etc.
• Assist individual on accessing a variety of activities such as going out to eat, the movies, shopping, etc.
• Works with individual and family in a compassionate and understanding manner.
• Maintain positive and effective communication with all other staff members.
• Redirect problem behaviors (behavioral modification / behavioral therapy skills preferred)
• Maintain a clean, safe and homelike environment.

Requirements : - Caregiver / Personal Assistant

Pass drug test.

High School Diploma or GED / equivalent; Minimum age - 18 yrs.

Ability to perform multiple lift and transfers- 50 lbs.

Ability to pass State of Alaska Background Check.

Valid vehicle operator's license and a clean driving record.

Current vehicle insurance meeting the state minimum requirement.

Physical ability to lift, lower, and maneuver up to 50 pounds.

Working availability including evenings, and weekends.

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $16.00 per hour starting, to $21 per hour depending on experience.
