Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper & Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team at Arctic Air Home Services. As an essential part of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks and accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate financial records and timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform bookkeeping duties such as recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank statements.

· Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

· Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents to ensure accuracy of billing and resolve discrepancies as needed.

· Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies.

· Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts payable transactions.

· Generate and analyze accounts payable reports to monitor spending trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.

· Work closely with other departments to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.

· Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed, including filing, data entry, and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.

· Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable roles.

· Proficiency with Sage Intacct and/or experience with Service Titan is a plus.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
