PA Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery opportunity in Pinehurst, NC

Location: Pinehurst, NC; Fayetteville 40m Opportunity Highlights:
Full-time; 36 or more hours per week- Day shift; 8am-5pm- Advanced cardiac program offers minimally invasive procedures, TAVR, CABG, robotic surgery, lung procedures and more.- Four PA team supports three talented surgeons.- Responsibilities include first assist, post-op care with ICU management, and clinic.- Monday Friday schedule with 1:4 call. Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.- Two years of CT surgery PA experience preferred.- Position-specific knowledge and skills required:- Proficient with saphenous vein harvest (open and endoscopic) and tube thoracostomy- Management of ventilators and critically ill patients- In-depth knowledge of and experience in titrating inotropic and pressor medications- Efficient with placement of central lines, arterial lines (femoral, radial), Swan-Ganz catheters, and chest tubes- Unrestricted NC Physician Assistant license, NC DEA, and ACLS certification through AHA required.
