Archive Health is Hiring an Athletic Trainer Near Albion, IL

Job description

The Athletic Trainer will work on-site at our client’s location in Albion, IL. This position is open to anyone with one of the following credentials: Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant or Athletic Trainer. You will work with patients to help improve their movement and alleviate their pain.

Specific responsibilities

  • Diagnose patients by assessing and examining
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Educating patients about treatment processes and maintenance techniques
  • Charting on our EMR system, Tebra
  • Prevention education (e.g. leading a class on how to do preventative stretches/exercises)

Requirements

  • Certified Athletic Trainer license in the state of Illinois
  • Experience with an EMR system
  • Must be comfortable working in a startup environment
  • Team player mentality - comfortable working and building relationships with others in small clinic setting (reporting to Clinic Lead, working alongside a Medical Assistant)

  • Medical and caring skills, to deal with employee medical problems and care for them in a comprehensive way
  • Ability to establish rapport and trust with employees and management at client site
  • Flexibility to work in a startup company environment: adapting to help out when unforeseen problems arise
  • Discretion and commitment to confidentiality and careful communication
  • [Preferred] Fluent in or ability to speak Spanish
