Job Requirements:
Supports the billing team & responsible for performing a variety of complex duties, including working outstanding claims having no response from payers, having claim edits and/or having received claim form related denials. Maintains A/R at acceptable aging levels by prompt follow up of unpaid & denied claims. Responsible for posting payments , contractual adjustments & denials in a timely, accurate & complete manner.
Maintains basic understanding & knowledge of health insurance plans, policies & procedures. Accurately & thoroughly document the pertinent collection activity performed.
Participle & attend meetings, training seminar & In-services to develop knowledge.
MEDICAL OFFICE & INSURANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
