Job Overview:
Archetype Permanent Solutions is on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Contracting and Licensing Specialist to enhance our dynamic team. This key position is centered around providing outstanding customer service to our agents, overseeing the contracting and licensing operations, and bolstering our sales and agent recruitment initiatives. The ideal candidate will become the main point of contact for our agents, offering the necessary support and resources for their success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Agent Support: Deliver exceptional customer service by swiftly responding to agent inquiries via calls and emails. You will be the primary source of resolution for agent questions, issues, and concerns.
  • Outreach and Recruitment: Participate in outbound calling for various campaigns and projects, including collecting RSVPs for events. Actively engage in agent recruitment by reaching out to current and prospective agents for contracting opportunities.
  • Contracting and Licensing: Oversee the entire contracting process with carriers for both internal and external agents. Ensure that all sales representatives possess current licenses and assist with obtaining new state licenses as necessary.
  • Certification and Training: Manage the certification process for internal representatives and agencies to guarantee annual completion. Assist external agents with their certification processes and ensure follow-up for completion.
  • Relationship Management: Collaborate closely with the President/CEO to nurture and develop relationships with carriers. Act as the primary contact for fostering sales initiatives and maintaining positive relationships with agents and partnerships.
  • Event Coordination: Serve as the point person for Health Underwriter Associations, coordinating event participation and promoting events to agents. Attend agent training and recruiting events to represent the company and establish new relationships.
  • Training and Development: Lead training sessions, including webinars and one-on-one meetings. Maintain updated training materials and track AHIP, carrier certification, and continuing education for the team.
  • Administrative Duties: Keep an organized activity log using CRM systems. Offer backup support for administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in administrative, clerical, credentialing, licensing, or contracting roles.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with a preference for bilingual candidates (English/Spanish).
  • Professional, personable demeanor with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to learning new tasks and taking on additional responsibilities.
  • Openness to coaching and a genuine enthusiasm for personal and professional development.
  • A sense of urgency in completing tasks and contributing to team goals.

Salary: $60,546.57 - $72,916.30 per year
