Facility / Building Maintenance - Craftsperson
$3000.00 Sign-On Bonus!
Starting Pay: $25.56 (and up) Depending on Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Shift: DAY SHIFT / Monday thru Friday / Full-Time / Hourly - Ability to work any shift, and overtime including weekends, or holidays with advance notice as needed. ADM is a part of the production of 30% of the food supply globally, on average you touch at least 7 items per day made with ADM ingredients. - High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 2 years of industrial, commercial, building, or facility maintenance or construction and/or relevant two (2) year degree and/or equivalent Military experience (preferred)
- Regular and prompt attendance (required)
- Successfully complete all ADM Safety Certification requirements (required)
- Previous experience in Food Manufacturing facilities (preferred)
- Develop knowledge of maintenance files, manuals of replacement parts, specifications, blueprints of equipment, vendors, and maintenance requirements to facilitate repairs. Also, maintain such files and records in an orderly manner for future reference
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, production processes, operations, and general housekeeping and sanitation
- Organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work well with others and with minimal supervision
- Ability to actively participate in safety and skill training in pursuit of personal improvement
- Must be comfortable working at different heights, temperatures, with different chemicals, and wearing a respirator as needed throughout the plant
- Coordinate and complete all maintenance assignments, work orders, and preventive maintenance assigned by management. Ensure all work is properly documented.
- Keep facility walls free of missing paint, floors free of voids and cracks, entrance and exit doors in constant proper working condition with a proper seal, maintain clear pathways around plant exterior doors, shovel and salt all entrances to the plant, replace any/all burnt out light bulbs, respond to reports of suspicious activity related to food defense, and any other maintenance tasks/duties as assigned
