St. Simon the Apostle School is currently seeking a dynamic educator to join our team as a PE teacher for students in pre-K through 8th grade. If you are a motivated and passionate PE teacher who is committed to enhancing the physical, emotional, and social development of young students, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. The candidate is responsible for creating a classroom environment that promotes and develops an understanding of the relationship of healthy body function and exercise; motivating students to cultivate physical fitness, and appropriate social and emotional adjustment; discovering and developing the talents of students in physical achievement; and promoting strength, skill, agility and coordination in individual, dual and team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each student’s ability. Candidates should be comfortable collaborating with faculty & staff. This position is part time at 60% with flexible days and hours. Also willing to share a PE teacher with another school who is needing part time to make a full time position for the candidate.
