Good Shepherd Children & Family Services provides the highest quality foster care and treatment foster care, adoption, expectant parent counseling, maternity shelter, pregnancy services and advocacy. All floor care including dust mopping, wet mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing
Cleans rugs, carpets, and draperies
Strips, waxes, and buffs floors
Cleans furniture including upholstered furniture, desktops, and tabletops
Cleans lobbies, lounges, restrooms, hallways, and stairways
Dusts furniture and high and low area of walls. Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels and sills.
Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays
Transports trash and waste to disposal area
Replenishes bathroom supplies. Replaces light bulbs
Observes and reports all safety and maintenance deficiencies.
Sets up cafeteria and events
Help the organization meet its quality improvement, evaluation, and reporting requirements by contributing to developing outcomes, participating in data collection, interpreting data, and applying it to improve practices and outcomes
Performs other duties as may be assigned
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 months related experience
Be team oriented and able to work independently

Pre-Employment Screening
All candidates receiving an employment offer must submit a pre-employment screening. The screenings will include criminal background check and other background checks (as needed), Family Care Safety Registration, drug screen, an employment and education or licensure/certification verification, and Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination. Various positions will require physical examination, Tuberculosis screening and Hepatitis A. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of required screening.
