Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School in Miami Lakes, Florida is seeking a Full-Time Custodian to assist with the various church and school functions. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment that would include the classrooms, bathrooms, and offices. The Full-time Custodian performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED diploma equivalent.
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Must have knowledge of cleaning procedures.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. without assistance.
• One year of experience working in a custodial setting or environment preferred.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in custodial work.
• Must be safety conscious and able to perform all work according to safe work practices while maintaining a safe, clean work area and tools, and report any hazards to the supervisor.
• Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic. Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Must have a pleasant, service-oriented demeanor with good people skills.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
