Position Overview :

The Parish Support Specialist at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish is a pivotal role accountable to both the Director of Evangelization and Faith Formation and the Director of Music and Liturgy.

This dynamic position entails multifaceted responsibilities within the parish community, requiring versatility, organizational prowess, and a deep commitment to the mission and values of the parish.

The Support Specialist will have unique opportunities for career growth across various domains, including Marketing, Evangelization and Discipleship, Technology, Music and Liturgy Ministries, Project Management, and Childhood Education.

Mission and Ministry :

• Actively participate in planning and serving the vision and mission of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish.
• Contribute to and support the Parish’s liturgical and ministry functions as required.
• Live out the Parish mission by worshiping, growing, serving, connecting, and giving.
• Demonstrate virtues aligned with the core values of the parish : Welcoming, Sacrificial Generosity, Apostolic Zeal, Docility.

• Dynamic, self-directed individual with meticulous attention to detail.
• Highly organized, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage concurrent assignments.
• Proficient multitasker capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise internally and externally.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technology and processes.
• Experience or eagerness to learn project management principles.
• Strong relationship-building skills, fostering effective collaborations with parish staff, volunteers, and external partners.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated aptitude for technology and applications, coupled with a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies as needed.

Exceptional organizational skills and efficiency in task management are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively and work autonomously.

Experience or a keen interest in project management is highly desirable. The candidate will take direction from both the Director of Evangelization and Faith Formation and the Director of Music and Liturgy, assisting with a diverse range of tasks including event registrations, ministry calendar maintenance, volunteer management, paperwork completion, event scheduling, bulletin production, communications drafting, and video testimony production.
