Archdiocese Of Denver Management Co is Hiring a Part-time Spanish Teacher Near Wheat Ridge, CO

Saints Peter and Paul Catholic STEM School is currently seeking to fill a part-time Spanish Teacher position. Qualified candidates must be practicing Catholics who are passionate about sharing the faith with young students through living active lifestyles for Christ. Candidates should have a teaching license or similar qualifications. Candidates must pass a background check and attend Safe Environment training as well as Catholic Worldview seminars that are required of all teachers in the Archdiocese of Denver Catholic Schools.

Peter and Paul Catholic STEM School, we lay a firm and well-rounded foundation of virtue, knowledge, and skill, with a STEM curriculum to form a generation of young people equipped to shape the future through communication, collaboration, and innovation.

Candidates must:

  • Be an experienced educator that supports and understands the Catholic school mission
  • Be willing to be a member of a collaborative team of teachers
  • Teach and support the educational goals and objectives of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic STEM School and the mission of the Catholic Church;
  • Plan and deliver daily lessons in concert with the elementary teaching standards and benchmarks established by the Archdiocese of Denver;
  • Provide classroom instruction and activities that reflect the Catholic intellectual tradition and knowledge of 21st century best practices in education;
  • Demonstrate positive classroom management skills and strategies; and
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, peer educators, and administrators

These are essential requirements for this role:

  • Applicants must be a Catholic in good standing;
  • Applicants must have a teaching license or certificate that is valid in Colorado; or be willing to complete an archdiocesan teacher formation program
