Job Title: Instructional Aide
Location: St. Vincent de Paul School
Wage Range: $22-25/hr.
St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School is seeking a talented and dedicated individual to serve as instructional aide for the 2024-25 school year. We are a Catholic school in Denver, CO serving 425 students in grades PK3-8th grade. Rooted in the truth and love of Jesus Christ and His Church, we are committed to educating the whole child for the future.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists and supports the Elementary Teacher in maintaining a safe, clean learning environment for all children in his/her care
- Maintains a cooperative attitude of working together with their assigned teachers, parents, and other staff in planning and implementing activities
- Exhibits a genuine nurturing and caring attitude towards all children
- Assists the Elementary Teacher and/or other staff in maintaining discipline and supervision of children during classroom activities, lunch, recess, nap time, and special events
- Maintains a positive calm attitude with a soft voice and encourages this attitude and voice in others working in the classroom
- Communicates effectively and charitably with families, teachers, and staff
- Follows established confidentiality, safety, and emergency procedures
