    Job Summary:

    Responsible for educating and caring for young children between the ages of three and four years old. Their primary objective is to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and develop in a faith-filled environment. The following are some of the typical job responsibilities of a preschool teacher:
    1. Curriculum development: Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to promote learning and development in young children. We currently use FrogStreet as our curriculum framework covering core subjects.
    2. Classroom management: Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and socialization.
    3. Supervision: Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
    4. Assessment: Evaluate and document children's progress and growth through observation, assessments, and progress reports.
    5. Communication: Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss children's progress, behavior, and any concerns or issues (in person, via email, and/or virtually)
    6. Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, programs, and activities.
    7. Special needs: Identify and provide support for children with special needs or learning challenges.
    8. Professional development: Continuously engage in professional development to stay current with best practices and new research in early childhood education.
    Overall, the role of a preschool teacher is to create a nurturing, stimulating, and engaging environment that supports children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelors Degree Early Childhood Developement
    Competency in using a computer (Google Suite and Google Classroom)
