Archdiocese of Baltimore is Hiring an Extended care director Near Baltimore, MD
Cardinal Shehan School has an opening for an Extended Day Care Director. The ideal candidate should have management experience and experience working with young children.
In addition, she / he would be responsible for the direct supervision of students within the program as well as the staff.
Essential Functions
- Supervise the daily operations of the Extended Care Program.
- Supervise aides in planning appropriate social, physical, and creative activities for the students.
- Provide a safe and clean environment for the students.
- Record daily student attendance.
- Record daily payments and post to the accounts receivable system.
- Work with the Business Office on monthly billing.
- Follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Communicate daily with Extended Care Program parents regarding concerns or issues, schedule changes, and general administrative matters
- Supervision of day care staff members.
- Communicate all significant concerns and issues to the school administration.
- Comply with all regulations of the State Letter of Compliance.
- Complete all paperwork required to update and maintain the State Letter of Compliance.
Position Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field preferred
- First Aid and CPR certified
- Excellent references
